Brief DescriptionThere are 17 traditional baskets in the TMAG collection, 11 of which were collected by Dr Joseph Milligan (1807-84) between 1843 and 1847 when he was superintendant at Wybalenna, Flinders Island. The remaining 6 baskets have no provenance but were made sometime between the 1840s and 1850s.
