The more significant trains include B83 built in Granville, Western Sydney, by Clyde Engineering in 1952. The V56 shunting locomotive was built by the Victorian Railways for use at the Jolimont (Melbourne) electric car sidings in 1961.

This collection contains significant trains used in Australia's primary industry sector over the course of the early twentieth century.
