This includes the suburbs of Bayswater, Boronia, Ferntree Gully, Lysterfield, Rowville, Scoresby, The Basin, Wantirna, Wantirna South, Upper Ferntree Gully, the Knox municipality (since 1963), the former Shire of Ferntree Gully (1889-1963), the former Scoresby Riding of the Berwick Shire (1863-1889) and pre local government times in the above areas.
