Brief DescriptionAlex Nicoll was a dab hand at filming everyday life with his suburban Melbourne family. These home movies, shot on 16mm, cover the period from the late 1930's to the 1970's and represent the lives and recreational pursuits of the family. His son, Mac Nicoll, kindly donated this slice of Australian life to the ACMI Collection in 2008.
